Pulse Pocket privacy policy

Effective September 27, 2026. Developer: Andrew Mueller.

Pulse Pocket does not require an account. High scores and preferences are stored on your device.

Pulse Pocket uses TelemetryDeck to understand whether people play another run and return later. The app sends events for app opens, game starts and finishes, retries, and opening the score share sheet. Gameplay event details include mode, score, run duration, perfect catches, longest perfect chain, best-score improvement, and run number within a session. TelemetryDeck also receives an app-specific pseudonymous installation identifier, a session identifier, event time, and device/app metadata such as iOS version, device model, app version, and build number. We do not send your name, email address, contacts, precise location, free-form text, or game layout seed in these events. These data are used only for product analytics, not advertising or tracking across apps.

TelemetryDeck processes the analytics on its servers. Its privacy FAQ explains its identifier handling, data storage, and retention. TelemetryDeck currently does not promise a fixed deletion date for stored analytics events. We will use the gameplay results to decide whether to improve the game; we will not try to identify individual players from the analytics.

If you tap Share score, iOS opens the system share sheet. Pulse Pocket counts the opening of that sheet but does not learn whether you sent the score or who received it. Any app you choose in the share sheet handles the content under its own privacy practices.

If you submit TestFlight feedback, Apple processes and delivers that feedback to the developer under Apple's TestFlight terms. Please do not include sensitive information in feedback.

For privacy questions, contact Andrew Mueller at andrew.mueller8@gmail.com. Support messages include information you choose to send and are used to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information. If you request deletion of support correspondence, contact that same address; we will explain any information we need to retain. We cannot identify your pseudonymous gameplay events from an email address.

This notice covers builds with TelemetryDeck analytics (starting with version 1.0 build 3). Earlier TestFlight builds 1 and 2 do not include this analytics SDK. The game includes no advertising or in-app purchases. If data practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed release is distributed.
